This visit is for all patients new to our practice. We offer three different types of treatments, depending on your needs.
Comprehensive Treatment Program: This treatment is our deepest dive into your condition. This is for anyone who needs help with chronic or ongoing health issues involving hormone imbalance, fertility, mental health, gastrointestinal dysregulation, and autoimmune conditions. This session includes a more complex evaluation which may include lab review, full medical background review, and ongoing treatment plan. In addition to acupuncture, this session may include acupuncture, fire cupping, sound therapy, dietary recommendations, and custom herbal formulation.
Nervous System Reset: This highly targeted treatment has one goal - to rebalance your nervous system. We will pull you out of fight-or-flight with less talking and more relaxing. This session includes essential oils, sound therapy and our nervous system regulating acupuncture protocol.
Pain Treatment: Our pain treatment is for people experiencing acute pain or recovering from injury or surgery. This treatment will target musculoskeletal injury, reduce inflammation and support the healing process. Intake is highly focused and may include review of imaging and history of the pain. Treatment modalities include acupuncture and/or dry needling, moxibustion, e-stim, fire cupping and herbal remedies.

This treatment is for anyone who has been a patient within the last 6 months. In this visit we will briefly discuss your treatment progress and any new needs that may have arisen. This treatment may include sound therapy, fire cupping, and herbal remedies, if indicated.

Cupping - Cupping uses suction to create a sensation similar to deep tissue massage. It moves lymph, releases muscle tension and adhesions in fascia, and invigorates circulation. Cupping works very well in conjunction with acupuncture. $40 (15min), $75 (30min stand alone session)
Celluma PRO Light Therapy - This FDA approved device uses blue and red light therapy to reduce pain and inflammation, boost collagen, reduce fine lines and heal and prevent acne breakouts. May be added to any acupuncture session. $75 (30min)
Subconscious Belief Work

Subconscious Belief Work is a guided meditation and deep healing session that identifies and replaces the root beliefs in your subconscious that are blocking you from achieving the life you deserve. Gentle and powerful, you will walk away knowing that you profoundly changed the negative beliefs that were holding you back. Session offered via telemedicine or in-office.

About our Services
Cupping
This treatment involves placing thick glass cups at prescribed points on the body. A suction created inside the cup, gently lifts the skin, causing a sensation similar to deep tissue massage. This releases tension in the muscles and fascia, and stimulates healing blood flow. Cupping can be used to treat pain and arthritis, mental health conditions, headaches, improve digestion, support immunity, and much more.
Custom Herbal Medicine
Plant medicine is a powerful tool that has been used for thousands of years. Chinese Herbal Medicine draws on an extensive pharmacopeia of single herbs and masterfully constructed formulas, developed and modified over centuries. Herbs may be prepared as a soup or tea, as a tincture, a topical or encapsulated. Our herbs are carefully sourced to ensure quality and safety. We order from Yin Dew, Blue Poppy Organics, Green Mountain Herbs, or through local organic producers when possible.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture is one of the most powerful treatment modalities in East Asian Medicine. We place tiny needles at specific points on the body. These needles act on your central nervous system, moving Qi and blood in the meridians, and stimulating a biochemical cascade which activates your body’s natural healing mechanisms. When needles are not indicated, non-invasive methods such as acupressure, or Japanese shoni-shin, may be used.
Dietary Therapy
Food is the first medicine. Ancient physicians believed that health could be preserved by harmonizing and nourishing your body on a daily basis with appropriate foods. In East Asian Medicine, everything we consume is classified according to its therapeutic properties. With this system, we are able to support healing and resolve imbalance by prescribing specific foods and food preparation techniques, according to each person’s unique condition.
