  • Person placing needles during acupuncture treatment

    Acupuncture

Acupuncture involves placing tiny needles on specific points or channels on the body. This safe and effective treatment reduces pain by stimulating the release of natural opioids and endorphins, reducing inflammation and improving circulation, thereby increasing the rate of recovery. Patients often feel deeply relaxed during their session and may experience a reduction in pain immediately or within a few sessions.

  • Cupping Therapy

Cupping is an ancient healing method that uses suction to stimulate blood flow, increase lymphatic drainage, release adhesions and tension in muscles and fascia, boost the immune system, remove toxins and promote overall relaxation.

  • Theta Healing

Theta healing, or “Subconscious Belief Work” is a guided meditation and healing session that identifies and replaces root beliefs in your subconscious that may be blocking you from achieving the life you deserve.

Gentle and powerful, you will walk away knowing that you’ve profoundly changed the negative beliefs that were holding you back. Session offered via Telemedicine or in-office

  • Herbal Medicine

Chinese herbal medicine is thousands of years old and utilizes an extensive pharmacopeia of safe and effective plants and minerals. We prescribe classical and customized formulas and topicals to alleviate pain, promote healing and support your overall health.

  • Sound Therapy

Low intensity sound has been shown to reduce our sensitivity to pain by interfering with neural pathways involved with pain perception. We use tuning forks tuned to the frequency of “OM” in conjunction with acupuncture sessions, inducing deep relaxation and enhancing the healing benefits of the needles.

  • Mugwort burning over an acupuncture point.

    Moxibustion

Moxibustion is a powerful non-invasive therapy applied by burning mugwort (Ai Ye) over specific points or channels related to your pain. This gentle method of heat application infuses the body with warmth and invigorates the qi and blood. It is especially beneficial during the colder months of the year and for treating many kinds of arthritic conditions.

If a needle stays very sharp or bothersome it will be adjusted based on your comfort leve.

  • You can expect results after the first treatment but it may take more than one treatment to completely resolve your pain. The number of recommended treatments will depend on the severity and duration of your pain. We will discuss your treatment plan during your first visit. In most cases however, people will notice some relief or reduction in pain after just one treatment, and in general, people report feeling refreshed and deeply relaxed after every session.

  • Don’t worry! We can still treat you. It’s impossible to list every condition so we just list the ones most commonly seen in the clinic. Chinese Medicine is a complete system of medicine.
